Initial GPS Fix

I have had it a few times now that I use an external BT GPS Module (Nokia LD-4W) that NST goes straight to the red "X" symbol for GPS although the GPS module has a GPS fix.

The work around, as frustrating as it is, is to close NST and go to:

Tools / Connectivity / GPS Data (Which gets a fix form the BT module)

and then return to NST.

Once or twice I have even had to reboot my phone do the GPS Data route aswell.

I cannot guarrantee that this is a specifically v2.06 issue as I started using teh external BT GPS Module past update to v2.06.

As someone else has hinted in a different thread, I don't think this is so much a NST problem, but an issue with the BT routine. It's not just at start-up that connectivity is being lost... it sometimes happens at other times too... there's a fix on the BT device and it shows there's communication, but NST seems to not be able to reconnect to the device (or rather the streaming data).

In this case it is not that the Fix is lost.

NST claims there is no GPS connection in the first place.

I also use the LD-4W but didn't notice this issue. I keep it in mind.
I only noticed that it takes a while for the GPS to get a fix. But that is another problem.

I am so used to it I hardly think of it. I currently always get GPS lock using Nokia Maps before starting sports tracker.

It has been like that with all versions of sports tracker.
