Still using NST v2.06 on a N95-1. When i was running yesterday, i noticed that everytime i closed the slider of my N95-1 and the keylock was on, all the parameters (like time, distance, speed) got frozen. Only after unlocking the keyboard, they were updated in real time. Don't think that data is lost during workout, so NST isn't really frozen, it just don't update the workout screen while the keylock is on.

The latest builds of SportsTracker stepped up the efficiency of the "Power saver" features. v2.05 saw a loss of audible lap tones because of the Power saver enhancements, but was restored in v2.06 just days later.
You can disable SportsTracker's Power saver after you start a new workout by selecting it from options.
No matter what setting you select, NST will show the correct details of the current workout a couple seconds after waking from standby screen mode.

Indeed switching off power saving mode worked. Don't know why this is such a power saving feature? Plus, isn't it the function of NST to show u real time parameters of your workout (besides recording it)? How much power is saved by switching on this feature?

The power saver feature makes a lot of difference if you're tracking a long run.
15 mile (2hrs + trail run)
Without power saver: 2 or 3 bars of battery left
With power saver: 6 bars of battery left
I'd thoroughly recommend using the power saver option for long runs but switch it off for shorter durations if you want to see at a glance.
With v2.06 the lap sound is back so you can always have a look just after the beep.

I've been doing that myself; Taking a look at my workout stats just after lap beeps.
That way there's no need for standby/power save/keypad lock workarounds.
