Depending on you phone model your captured photo files may have embedded positioning data in them.
SportsTracker, however, uses a time signature in your photo's files to place your pix on your workout journey's path.
Check your handset's time settings.

hi. thank you for your answer.
my handset timesettings are correct.
but i ever use the auto-pause mode, so that only the real driving time is displayed and maybe saved to the wrong place in webservice.
maybe this causes the problem?
but why sportstarcker uses the tmestamp of the photos and not the geotagging-feature?
makes me really sad, that now and in future all my photos are displayed at wrong places... :(
same problem here on E66 with NST 2.06. correct photos were found but misplaced =/
I have the same problem on my E90. And even worse!
I take the photos during my workout...but they are in my Media folder...and I have to upload them seperately on SportsTracker... They behave like independent picture files with no relation to my workout.
If someone helps I would be grateful!

Same problem with the N95.
The are always further along the route.
I have even had images shown in the wrong order!!!
djh.sthlm: You state to check the time settings on the phone but wont Sports Tracker and the Camera both be using the phones time settings?
If you have a model that embeds the gps settings in the image couldn't NST have the option to use this instead of the time stamp.
TIA
'If you have a model that embeds the gps settings in the image couldn't NST have the option to use this instead of the time stamp.'
I don't know why the devs use time stamps over geo-tagging. My only guess is that by using time stamps, more phone models could be supported. All S60 3rd have cameras, save my E61, but few have GPS chipsets and fewer users have ext GPS modules.
Wrong image order is a strange one. I'll receive my N79 Active Edition in a couple days and look forward to using my camera a lot with NST.

good to see, that i am not the only one with this problem.
so dev-team, please try to make that the geotagging become the higer priority than timestamp (if the geotag is included in an image, of course)
Obviously I believe that Geo-tagging is the better option (but not sure if the N95 that I have even supports it? ) I still can't understand why the time stamp gets it so wrong. Surely as I am using the camera and the Internal GPS of the phone all the features should be using the correct timestamp...
@SlimboyFat: The N95 can geotag an Image.
See Location Tagger

I use this when not using NST.

I've noticed the same behaviour with both my N95 and N85.
Usually I can recall where the photos were taken, never the less, having the locations set by the geotaging information as the first choice would be nice.
