I live in Israel.
When I upload a workout to the site, the map displayd include only the main highway.
I thought Google maps are not updated for our are.
But if I go to Maps.Google.com and move the map to center on Israel, and zoom in, I see every street of every city. Even in Hebrew.
Why the maps you show are not updated?
Is there a way to link to the correct maps?

Are you referring to the client software or the online service?

If the client, check the bottom right of the maps screen on your Sports Tracker, it says Nokia, NAVTEQ as the map source. Google Maps uses Tele Atlas maps. The maps source are different, and thus there
are differences in their content.

If the online service, I don't know...

I am talking about the site, so the online service.
If you zoom out just a bit from my location Jerusalem, I can see Aman, and Turky.
The solution must be very simple.

Anyway, you are the only one to help this issue.

I am not sure what they mean in the link you gave me.
If you press the icon on the map in the link I have sent you ("Powered by Google"), then you will see all cities. (without the workout).
Google maps do work in Israel, and you can find any street in any city. In English and in Hebrew.

Why only in NST site it can't be seen?

Please try to find out how it works.

What I meant was, I'm not the product manager of Sports Tracker. We here at Beta Labs don't develop anything. Beta Labs is simply a channel by which development teams can beta test their software, such as Sports Tracker.

And about the link, it says there: "This is the same as in v2, licensing issues (presumably) prevent
Google being able to offer much detail in the API maps."

I don't have any knowledge about this, but it would seem, based on those comments, that Google has some licensing issues, due to which they cannot show much detail on the maps used with the API, i.e. the 3rd party apps that use Google Maps.
