E71 bike holder

It's summer soon and I would like to be able to attach my e71 to my bike handle so I can see the maps, control the music etc.. Has anyone come up with a SECURE way to do that?

I know I can go to cheap-plastic store next door and buy a phone holder for a dollar (well, ten krona, as I am in currently in the U of Stockholm) but I wouldn't feel comfortable with that. I ride recklessly - anything not THROUGHLY fastened will fall off.

I am thinking that I might get a leather case with plastic front, and velcro that around the handle bar.. with maybe a thin slice of styrofoam between to work as a shock absorber.. Unless there's a better way.
