file corrupted during installation

Sportstracker sounds like a great product and I would love to use it, but I just can't get it installed on my E71. I have tried many different methods (using the installer file that came on the memory card in the phone, direct from nokia downloads, via my PC) but every time it gives the same message "file corrupted". Am I doing something silly? Does the phone cache the downloaded file somewhere and it needs to bne cleared? All suggestions welcome. Thanks in anticipation

Thanks. I had seen that already, but it only seems to deal with issues once the software is installed.

Have you downloaded from sportstracker.nokia.com?

have you tried to install the file referenced in the other thread?

ie the e75 installation file from sportstracker.nokia.com

You could also try connecting you phone to your PC and using Windows Explorer to search for *.sis and *.sisx. See if any sportstracker files are listed and move them to your PC (deleting them off your phone). You could also try using "Active File" a third party "Heineken" File Manager that reaches the places the default file manager doesn't reach ans search for *.sis and *.sisx with that.

Thanks for your help. I tried all this, but without success. I couldn't even install active file. I found elsewhere that other people with this problem had only fixed it with a full reset of the phone. So I took the hit and did that and it has now installed OK.
