As many of you have figured out by now, regrettably this forum receives almost no developer support.

Therefore, supplying as much detail as possible about suspected bugs is a crucial element of a community based support system.

Adding your basic handset details to your signature (in profile), like I have below, is extremely beneficial.

Among other things, try supplying a level of detail which includes what you were doing at the time, as well as your settings, when the issues occur.

Please also check if the issue is repeatable, intermittent or a 1-off observation.

Sportstracker is Beta. Beta testing is usability testing only, and support should not be expected.

even if no support is really expectable, you want to make your bug report as complete as possible, because if not someone else may try what you did and come up with a completely different (good) result

I love this app, and maybe that's a problem; I might bleed Nokia blue if cut. Being a Nokia stockholder, I expect an innovative product like this to not remain in Beta for two years while the competition has copied and delivered their final variations of our favorite app.

My impatience is has nothing to do with the brilliant NST dev team, but the fact they work for the world's largest mobile producer and obviously cannot get the help they need.

The concept of NBL projects suggests the public be invited to try unfinished products with our bug reports, suggestions and discussions being an integral part of the process.

For the last four months, only myself and @mbrett have had a few questions answered in any Nokia forum by the NST Dudes. We have no current change-log, how-to's, or FAQ's.

Either the NST Dudes aren't keen on the NBL concept or they need more staff. I suspect the latter and Nokia should give it to them because SportsTracker has huge potential. Case in point: look at what Nike+iPod has done with a finished product in less time.

Nokia, please give the NST Dudes a hand.

I have been a bit puzzled about the Nokia strategies and apparently absurd redundancies as to the things they are testing. I kind of get the impression that we are not testing different applications (In fact, an application such as contact in and of it self is kind of pointless) but pieces of some bigger research project that [hopefully] will result in a single comprehensive system.

If we were having this discussion year 2000 I would have been absolutely convinced this is the case, as back then Nokia stood for excellence and presented products that were thoroughly thought through, given the user experience that no better device can be made, and every smallest detail must have been thoroughly researched. Kind of like we felt about WordPerfect for DOS back in the DOS days. Unfortunately, I don't see that when I look at what Nokia's been up to lately.

I just hope they get back to striving to excellence (E71 is a big step to the right direction) and we will see the results of that soon. I would hate to see them go the way of WordPerfect DOS ;)
