Upgraded my N95 8Gb (Product Code: 0554747 (UK)) last night and found that Nokia Sprts Tracker v1.70 was included in the firmware upgrade (V31.0.15 | 07/11/08 | RM-320 | Noklia N95 (88.01) ).
This is an old version of Sports Tracker, but found it quite interesting that it is now packaged within the latest N95 8Gb firmware.
Are you sure it was built into the Firmware!

When I did the firmware update from 30.0.018 to 31.0.015 I had Nokia Sports Tracker 1.82 BETA installed in my phone with its icon in a folder I had called "Nokia Apps" in the root folder (Main Screen). When the firmware update was complete I had Nokia Sports Tracker 1.70 installed on my phone with it's icon in the Nokia generated "Applications" folder.
To me this means v1.70 was installed within the firmware update.

I upgraded my Orange N95-1 to v30.0.015 last night (thanks Orange for finally offering a firmware version with better battery life) and it still has v1.82 installed???
One thing that has always been a bug bear for phones with 3rd party add-ons installed is that they aren't protected by the backups that you "ALWAYS" take before an upgrade and have to re-install after the restore or that attempt to auto reinstall after the upgrade and fail. It would appear that Sports Tracker is now able to successfully auto reinstall if its on the memory card.
Now all I've got to do is remember all of my favourites from the Navigation software that were wiped out in the upgrade.........
