Please help, I'm going crazy

So I installed the sports tracker about 10 months ago, never a problem.
Now I needed to use it abroad but didn't have my passwords with me. So I created a new account and wrote the nickname in my profile on the app in the phone but it didn't work.
Back home I couldn't find my pw either and tried to open yet another account, insert the new nick into the app, no problem uploading but the workouts never appeared when I logged on.

Ok, you can ask for a new pw but it never got to me.

Now what I need to know: why can't I just create a new account and upload the workouts there? Is the name in the user profile in the app on my N78 NOT the name of my sports tracker account?

And, if so, how can I find out what account my app uploads to?

I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but no change- since the workouts and settings are still all there I guess just uninstalling the app doesn't change anything.

Installing and uninstalling does not delete the config file.

Go to Settings > User

In here you should see a user profile, which I assume is paired with the service. One option would be to unpair this user and then re-pair it with the service under the new nickname you have generated, but I assume this is what you did.

The Website username your workouts sync to is based on the usename and password yuo use during the pairing process and not the User Profile name.

If this was all obvious to you I appologies, but otherwise I hope it helps.

I tried pretty much everything but not the unpair-pairing- that was not at all obvious to me (even if in hindsight it should have been).
Thanks again, finally I can use that nice program again.
