Support for 5800 a must!

Hello!

I just bought a Nokia 5800 Xpress Music and want it to be able to replace my old N95. One of my primary use of my phone is to track and measure my trainingtracks and this it want Sportstracker do best. When installed Sportstracker on my 5800 the application just wont start. I have tried many versions of the program and none that I have tested works.

Want I want is not a flashy touchversion of Sportstracker but only a application that runs and does its job. This is very essential for me, and I also think that I have more people on the same line.

Right now I don't know what to do? Seems like I cannot buy new Nokia phones that forfills my purpose. I like Nokia very much and I brag a lot about your for my friends and always recommend a Nokia phone before anything else. I don't think this is the way to sell phones.

I really hope that a version supporting 5800 will be released soon enough. Maybe at the same time as the version supporting heart monitoring (which I just love and always wanted)?

Just heard a rumour that Nokia Sportstracker will turn to 2.0 within a short time which will support touch UI. Just can't wait for it!! :)

Let's hope that this is true! Right now that's the only bad thing about the 5800: no sportstracker!! :-)

Just got a 1.83 version of Sportstracker for Symbian V5!

Just tested it and it works on my 5800! Maybe just a pre-release before v 2.0 is released, and if so: thanks a lot!

It supports heart rate monitoring and it seems like it can use the maps from the navigation program Maps. There are options where you can choose between satellite, street or terrain mode for maps.

The touch interface does not work very well on the 5800, also the GUI seems wrong in several screens. Like the screen that shows your calender and runs.
Bigger buttons to start, pause and stop a run would be perfect, after a run the buttons ar tiny.

I'm very pleased with the interconnection (activity= totaal workout hours:minutes) of Sporttracker Results and Wellness Diary. Did not found a new and working version for the 5800. I am using my old 6110 navigator untill the updates are available, hopefully this would not take very long... ;-) A heartbeat interface in Wellness Diary would be very snappy also (min/max fitness level & coach).
