Support for S60 R3 fp3 "destinations"

I notice that the AP has to be explicitly set in Sports Tracker 2.05

Are we likely to see support for fp2 "destinations" -- this makes things *far* more usable.

In my case I have dodgy 3G connectivity at home & work, so regularly use wifi in those destinations whilst 3G generally used out/about.

WHilst that may suggest I just set it to 3G, uploads are often done at home, needing wifi, and switching APs manually is a pain.

IMO The S60 developers tripped up on this destination support. There should have been a virtual AP accessible via the "old" APIs that would have allowed "old" apps to work with desinations unchanged, just as psiloc did in their 3rd party app for prior handsets, and just as VPN apps do.

Couldn't agree more, destination support is a must for S60v3 FP2 phones and S60v5 phones. To make matters worse, some applications written by Nokia support destinations, while others don't. This is often confusing to the user, and doesn't offer seamless connectivity through multiple APs.

On a side note, if support for Network Destinations is not so easy, maybe a solution similar to what N-Gage employed would be suitable? N-Gage allows a preferred AP, and a secondary AP. This would be a good compromise.

I think i have requested this in every beta!

All of Nokia's apps should support the Destinations. Have no clue why doesn't this make sense to Nokia.

Where are the maps stored in my handset?

I have spent a longtime browsing back and forth over my city to dl them. I'd want to back them up, but don't know where to look for them.

BTW... I already have the same exact maps downloaded in Nokia Maps 3, and I fail to see why I need to download a redundant set. Just a thought.

You bring up a good question about the map material and it's stored location, which I haven't been able to find.
