Update failure and service error

I have been using NST relatively frequently the past month and it has worked perfectly all this time, until yesterday. Then I suddenly got a "Check for update fail. Internal service error" message upon start up. I didn't think more about it and did my 20km bike ride. When I attempt to upload this workout to the web (after choosing to share with friends), I get a "Group refresh failed! Error: 0" message. It still allows me to continue with the upload though, and when I select friends again, I get another note stating "Upload of workout failed. Internal service error" (this note is localized and I don't know what the exact English words would be).

I haven't changed any settings since the last workout and the only thing I can think of is that it might be related to the maintenance that was done to the NST site yesterday.

I'm using an E71with sw v.100.07.76 (08-06-2008)

Okay, I just did a software update on my phone as it was a year old and then restored all my info, and the problem is gone... for now.

I too got that a lot with my E65, but the other way round, it was quite reliable until I updated my firmware; I bought my wife an E65 to replace ageing S-E flip, so she started from scratch and the same latest firmware and S-T has been very reliable for her.

HOWEVER, she only ever uses one access point, the wireless internet at home, whereas I switch wifi AP regularly and I do note that S-T doesn't like it when you start-up online, move out of wireless coverage and return, it doesn't remake the connection and can crash.
