I have forgotten my username (in my defence I only used it the once)
Nokia will email me a new password but cannot send my username.
Can I retrieve it from the phone somehow?
I have tried removing the app and downloading it again but this does not prompt for a new username, instead it just restored the previous routes etc. Seems that removing the app is not the same as deleting it?
I have email nokia twice but have had no reply.
Any suggestions (apart from remembering my username next time)?
Don't hold your breath waiting for Nokia to send you your user name.
Easiest thing to do is create a new Sports Tracker account.
Once you have a new account with user name and password, go back into your mobile app and select your user profile in settings.
Now choose "Unpair with Service" from options.
Stay on that user page and choose "Pair with Service" from options.
Enter your new user name and password.
Once paired, re-upload any of your previous workouts. These workouts will show in your new account stats.
That should do it.
If ever you want to insure that you don't lose the workouts you already have when uninstalling or upgrading, you can make a copy the Sports Tracker folder on your memory card for a back up. That folder contains files with the ext ".DAT" which are your individual workouts themselves. Simply replace them in the same directory after the new installation or upgrade.

If tyou have an ovi account, registered to the same email, most probably the username is the same
David - thanks for this - I have done as suggested. I have uploaded my routes but they are not appearing in my dashboard? Maybe this takes some time? or is it because the routes were created under my old username?
When you said, " ...I have uploaded my routes...", did you in fact upload "Routes" from your mobile or have you uploaded your "Workouts"? Routes and Workouts are separately stored and accessed on your Dashboard.
Any workouts that exist in the SportsTracker folder on your memory card will automatically be included under the current paired-with-service "User" profile on your mobile app. It makes no difference under what username the workouts were initially written under.
