I use SportsTracker and Maps, often at the same time (since it's easier to see where you are and where you're going on Maps than on SportsTracker). I find it confusing that the two apps use different buttons for the same functions. I like the # and * buttons on Maps to zoom in and out, but these aren't used on SportsTracker. It would be good to have some consistency between Nokia apps.

Eventually, I'd like to see these apps merge together... I actually use SportsTracker primarily to log my car rides here in Syria, to upload the tracks as .GPX files to openstreetmap, since these are currently the best maps for the area (I wish Nokia would introduce something similar... think of all that data they could collect to take a monopoly on map making... if every Nokia phone uploaded A-GPS data to a central server you could use that data to verify roads, footpaths, etc... similar to how TomTom use the data for determining the state of traffic jams and which lanes are quicker on the motorways).

It would be great if I could plan a route (be it by car, bike, foot etc) in Maps and have Maps track the route realitime (just as SportsTracker does now). But I want to be able to plan routes offroad too, not just on roads! For example, plot some waypoints across a desert. SportsTracker needs to be able to either import or plan routes and use the mapping feature to navigate them. It would then fulfill my needs... until then I'm verging on buying a Garmin unit.
