I have tested sports tracker in my Nokia E51 and it is of course not working with the GPS . But Ithe other things works fine to put in data.
I have waiting to buy Nokia 5800 to be able to use the program in that phone. I was reading a test of the phone in a Swedish magazine called M3 digital World.
Sports tracker is not aviable for the 5800 model. I rely get disappointed.
It was the main reason for me to buy that phone.I hope Nokia develop a version son for the 5800 model.
I have a 5800 and although I would really like to see soon a Sporttracker release which supports this model, I really don't get your post. You state you acquired a 5800 for the sole purpose of running Sporttracker - but this software is still a beta and never listed the 5800 as being supported.
Would you buy a T-shirt and claim you cannot use it as a jacquet ??

Hopefully an official beta release of Sportstracker that supports 5800 is on the way soon.
I had assumed I downloaded NST from the official site but looking for the 5800 edition it seems to be missing. I hope I'm not breaking any forum rules by saying it is likely you can find the beta 1.83 edition mirrored somewhere on the net still. Obviously this is an unofficial version right now (I've experienced 2 crashes in about 4 hours of use so far - when listening to music this is obvious to notice and rerun, existing data is recovered so it doesn't break the route tracked). For me it seems worth some stability woes for a basically working version, wish I had Nokia's new email client (Messenger?) but we'll just have to wait for the v5 revision. Hopefully it won't take until the N97 phone release for that to arrive.
