Vibrate alert when GPS lock acquired. Trivial feature would make a huge difference.
I can start a workout and drop the phone in my pocket while I get my cycling gloves on then just wait for the buzz.. instead of standing around in the cold with bare hands staring at the screen, wait for the green OK marker.
