New version of Mobile Web Server released

Jukka just announced in his Mobile Web Server blog that they just released the new version.

New features:
Chat - communicate with your friends
Presence - share your status
New languages: Finnish, French, German, Italian and Spanish

Other improvements:
Python for S60 version 1.4.1
Improved snapshot camera - take better advantage of device camera capabilities
General stability improvements
WebDAV performance improvements

Go try it and send your feedback to the development team! Write your thoughts either publicly to Jukka’s blog entry or privately using the web form.

  2. @Anonymous: Yes this is a known issue, just as it says on the Download page:
    “Please remove Python for S60 first before installing update to 1.1, otherwise installation will fail.”

    Especially note that it may not be possible to directly upgrade an application package that embeds a 1.3.x runtime package into a new version that embeds a 1.4.x runtime package without removing the old runtime package first.)

  3. Hello I tested the Spanish version with a Nokia E61, when attempting to view contacts gives me an internal error, what has happened to someone?
