it was good.
i have a n70 which doesnt support mass storage,i was just wondering if there could be a very small app or driver which would enable me to transfer files in other computers without having to install 200mb of s/w.
anyway,keep up the good work.

Hi Tommy -

Almost!

I saw the updated info here:

     http://www.nokia.com/betalabs/nseriespcsuite

However, the misleading info is still at the link that tripped me up over here:

     http://www.nokia.com/betalabs/applications

Nonetheless, it's great to see that you guys are reading our feedback and acting quickly - thanks!

Warning to N770/800/810 users:

When you click on the Compatibility node on the download page, it says "All Nokia Nseries devices".

You'll download a big package and have a nice long install of several apps you've been hoping to use with your Internet Tablet.

But once you connect your device and try to use the suite, you'll become very saddened, learning that it in fact is NOT supported... :(

(The final kick in the pants happens if you uninstall the suite while your tablet is connected: you'll get a message specifically indicating that you need to disconnect your Nokia device so the uninstall can finish - so it DOES know it's there, it just can't do anything for you!)

Nokia dudes/dude-ettes:

1) Please update the download page so that other poor tablet users don't get disappointed like I did - I didn't learn about the incompatibility issue until I saw the answer in an FAQ somewhere else.

2) Are there plans to make this suite compatible with the Internet Tablets at any point? We badly need some sort of basic sync/networking/PIM capability, like it seems to deliver to the other N-Series guys.,,

okay... there was no problem with bluetooth... i forgot to remove the connectivity drivers before installing the new PC Suite.. it has to be removed completely before installlation of the beta PC Suite.. but i had to revert back to the old PC Suite as the beta one [especially Nokia Photos] still requires massive amounts of RAM and is slow.. i'm on Vista with 1GB ram..

i have an N73 and i was happy using the earlier Nseries PCSuite, everyone knows that the pop port cable can be a headache at times and i was really happy being able to sync my phone over bluetooth.. but now that i've upgraded to the beta version i can not connect through bluetooth anymore.. i looked through the help and found out that Widcomm v5.0 is supported but i'm using Widcomm v5.1 on Windows Vista... wat to do now??

Hey there. My N95 crashed the same day I did a full Content Copier backup using the Nseries PC Suite Content Copier. (I mistakenly thought there was new firmware for the US model.)

After Call+3+* resetting the phone, I ran a Content Copier restore, which did nothing. No contacts, no calendars, no bookmarks or web feeds, nothing except the access points for the device from what I can tell (it's put me in the position of having duplicate protected APs for Devicescape which I can't delete).

At no time during backup or restore did the application say it was unsuccessful in any way.

Really, this is a complete trainwreck for this software. The only reason I got anything back on this phone was thanks to iSync on my Mac at home.

Chalk me up as another one who needs to be able to install it from behind a proxy. It's great so far on my home PC, and I'll be leaving feedback based on my tests there, but I can't install it here at work.
