Ad-powered Download! client beta over, winner of Nokia E65 will be contacted personally
Hereby, I announce the beta pilot (and feedback competition) of ad-powered Download! Client to be officially over.
The Download! team will now arrange a draw, and contact personally the lucky winner of the shiny new Nokia E65. If you wasn’t the one, better luck next time. Heh.
After Christmas holidays, we will share the key takeaways from your feedback, and I hope we’ll have an interesting debate about it…
You promised some feedback on this ‘after the Christmas holidays’ or ‘in January 2008′….did I miss it?
What happened? Was it popular?
My company is being strangled because it’s so difficult to get revenue from inexpensive content - it looks like we won’t survive much longer actually. This ‘ad-powered Download! Client’ seemed like it might be just what we were after, but it is almost certainly too late to save us
However, I’d still be interested to know what the results of the test were, as would many, I think.

I’d still like to know what the results of this trial were. The silence is deafening and, frankly, not encouraging
