"Here and now" guides through rain or shine

Written by Pekka Rissanen, Manager, Here and now

Introducing the answer to two vital questions of the day: Is it going to rain tonight? What's going on in town?

Sure there are ways to find out, but none is as instant and personal as Here and now. It allows you to get the local weather and events directly to your mobile browser - zero configuration, just click and go. That's what the techy types among us call context sensitivity - for others like me it just works.

Here and now will be preinstalled in several upcoming Nokia devices, but here is your chance to try it out in advance. Weather and Events are the first services available, but the plan is to add more - eventually we might have a kind of urban survival guide. However, it all depends on the feedback we get.

Download Here and now and please give us your feedback. We are aiming to build a better set of services and would really appreciate your improvement ideas.

On behalf of the Here and now team,

Pekka Rissanen

Well i don't really get the idea of this software... If you wanna provide weather app, then do it casuall way. Write a piece of software that appears normally in menu not in bookmarks (who's idea was that!?) and gives information in easy to read way just like Foreca Weather does.

Same with me. The bookmark Here and now is blank. "Default" is shown as the URL.

If it runs in a browser, what needs to be installed? Why S60 E3 FP2 only?
