Ovi Contacts updated for S60 3.0 and 3.1 - many issues reported by you improved

Hello Beta Labs,
It's time to do the semi-monthly update for Ovi Contacts. Recently, in the Beta Labs forum I made a promise that we'd update the 3rd Edition (original and FP1 versions) version of the client soon. Soon is now. It fixes some of the inconvenient capability loss issues we had, which translates to more reliable voice message and location sending features.
Since the last blog update, we've made a couple of server-side changes to enable the combo searches with firstname and lastname. Not a whole lot of IM services out there enables search these days. We wanted to have one, so that you'd find people to talk to. Of course, you can opt-out so that you won't be made visible in the search too.
Also as per reported in the Beta Labs Forum at some point, there was an issue between connectivity to Google Talk and sharing user vcard details across. Now, this should work without a problem.
From now on, with some very well tested and hand-picked devices, we'll be starting to distribute the client via Download! and nokia.mobi channels. We hope that this will help people take the client in to use even more easily.

Still no support for the 5800? Are the developers crazy??
Are the developers actually aware that they do not support one of nokia's current top selling phones???
I can't get past the "Update Error" message when trying to install the support services file.
1. Agreed to 5800xm - where's the S60v5 support? With the 5800 sold out in many places, the N97 coming within the next 60 days, and reports that the OmniaHD i8910 is out in some places, not having S60v5 support is beginning to get embarrassing, I'm sure.
2. Why don't existing clients automatically check for the update and offer to download/install it? I have Contacts on Ovi loaded up on the E71 and N79, so updating by downloading a separate file is a hassle - Ovi Contacts is obviously a data-intensive app (it's useless without data), so automatically checking for an update when you go online shouldn't require any additional permissions from the user. Is this planned for future versions?
Also, going to the mobile version (contacts.ovi.com/dist/app) on my phone, I'm prompted to download Services plugin v1.22, and Contacts v1.06. Are these the newest versions? If not, why isn't that site updated, as well?
I experience the same message "Update Error' during the installation of the mobile dlient 'Contacts on Ovi' on a E71.

How friends location link should select? I do not get or bug. Also contact name does not update if profile has changed. -Jani
i tried to follow http://contacts.ovi.com/dist/app to download ovi contacts, it opened and then clicked the link 'install the ovi contacts mobile client' but i got an error message saying 'not purported'
I'm using nokia e51 with FW 400.34.001
