Quick note: Gizmo for S60, one of our very first apps, is now formally graduated from Beta Labs.
The client is available for compatible devices via Download! service (not via Ovi Store). In addition, for some S60 3.2 devices, you can activate Gizmo directly fom the Internet Telephony settings menu.
Thanks for everyone who has sent us feedback over the years!! And apologies on my behalf for keeping this project in active beta list, without us demonstrating decent level of development activity and customer interaction during the past year...
"...via Download! service (not via Ovi Store)" - I wonder what's wrong with this store. Really. 127 application plus 123 games for my phone. None of the "must haves" I already had installed is there. Now the new ones like Gizmo don't go there, either. (I remember press releases before the launch that said we'd have 20.000+ right from the start.)
Was there any change in Nokia's strategy recently? :(
I was a bit puzzled about this post as I haven't seen anything about the app in ages. It's not me having a case of groundhog day i hope.
I thought it already graduated and so it say on its page 10. June 2008..
Btw could you explain the relation betwen gizmo and gizmo5?

ilvo, they are the same thing. Gizmo for S60 lets you use your Gizmo5 account to make VOIP calls and IM.
Simply go to gizmovoip.com ... ;)
