It's that time of the month again - introducing the latest Here and now update.
Many thanks for your continued interest on Here and now. This time we have tried to fix as many bugs as possible and introduce a couple of new features only. However, we think they are quite important for the planned new services and also for the potential user base in the future.
Here are the major new features for this update:
Alas, the N96 connection problem still is with us, but now there is a partial solution available. For N96 please uninstall any previous versions and try the new S60 3rd Edition FP1 [sic] version instead of the FP2 version. It behaves better in most cases, but the "Always ask" access point setting is not working.
Download the updated Here and now and please keep the feedback coming. Have a nice summer everyone - may the Weather be with you!
On behalf of the Here and now team,
Pekka Rissanen
Widget for N97
Why don't you think about making a Here and Now widget for N97 home-screen?
since its a java client, it

@snowy: of course I've
@snowy: of course I've tried, I've been able to install it but it doesn't work ("cannot connect to server. try later" all the time...)

thx for the feedback :)
nice added feature
I have this working on the E63, love the interface and interaction. The Mapping feature is nice and will be helpful when traveling. Quick thought, the ease of selecting the forecast is there, but when I click on todays weather, the site it loads actually has less information for that day. Is there anyway to add more info to the days weather, could be hour by hour weather. Just an idea, which weather site is in use?

The file is incompatable and will not install!
#widget for n97 @charliebrown
I must say I was rather suprised when I unboxed my n97 and found that here and now was nor included or supported. This was one of those seemingly useless services that I now rather not do with out. When i firsrt tried it on my old phn i was thinking oh this is defently a taste of what their playing with for 5ed touchphones. Or to put it short, yeah i agree w the prior post.
