Hello,
We have now included a new version of Nokia Software Updater. This version 2.4.5 contains corrections to issues you have reported in the Beta Labs feedback forum and also improvements we have worked on during this time. We have focused on the USB connectivity and I would like to highlight that the improvements are related to phone detection and application installation process, the update process itself is at the same good level as in the current public Nokia Software Updater. Try this Beta and give us your valuable feedback. We will be waiting!

hi, next time you creat a new update please do this for n97 i want to be possible go to youtube and can hear sound from videos and at same time do other things.Thanks.
Hi, Bug with some French ADSL phone are not display correctly :
Exemple : We (In french) have a provider named Free, they provide a fix phone number like that : 09 53 39 43 43 or (+33 9 53 39 43 43 in international)
On nokia N95 : The phone never display the contact (only the phone number) :
It's a problem relation between the phone and the contact with only these kind of phone number (09 xx xx .. )
It is frustrating to see you developing new stuff when we are waiting for updates to enable us to run stuff you have already developed - not good customer care.
(waiting for update for my version of 5800 software - latest is 40.x mine is still 30.x)

Hi, I have a brand new N86 MP and it is a very god mobile.
I have a problem with your Nokia Software Updater Beta. It does not work on Windows 7. When I check the Updaters capacity all Windows programs are there but Windows 7 is missing. Why ?

Great work on the USB side.
I use Nokia Suite 7.1.40.1 and although I could add applications and do backups, firmware updates and store images. I couldn't access the contacts, calandar or messages on my phone, just said sync failed.
Having installed the latest software updater all now works fine.
Unfortunately Vodafone New Zealand hasn't released the latest firmware so I can't check that side.

where i can , do some suggestions? meanwhile ovi suite need some improvments
1. access to memory card from cellphone, acces to images, music, other documents, access to calendar and notes? not everybody is happy using outlook for those tasks.and its easier to play around with two windows showing both data, pc and cellphone.
2. i still dont understad why take to loooong to launch de ovi suite.and still cant syncrhonize with live mail from microsoft, i hope could be soon.
3. i think maybe its better to have folders to organize data...
4. maybe a video/picture window, and a applications windows, would make easier to manage data, actually we have 4 basic windows, contacts, photos,messages and music, but inside the windows we have other options, (like ovi online), maps and upgrades. so maybe its a complicated order from items, what do you think about doing 4 windows..
CONTACTS, (will manage messages mail or sms plus another; notes and calendar) MEDIA (photo, video, others), APPLICATIONS (maps, apps instaled, apps upgrade etc),. oops only need three primary windows.
about the contacts, any anotation in calendar its ovbiusly correlated to a contact, or instead to a place , both of them has to be a contact for us, and the notes, may correspond to the user like a contact, or to another contact, soo....,

(i really want to help in the design for firmwares upgrades im using 5800xm now, and i have ideas but no place to put them)
please change the menu view of 5800xm i sawed this menu from your old nokia phones and nokia 3250 to onward...... please changed it now ,view the menu of 5800xm with new style and new idea (such as HD 3d and transparency and others)......and also change its homescreen theme (like N97,N900),add new features like having in N900 and N97, improve its camera's image quality because its captured image shows that its is taking from 1.2MP camera not 3.2MP camera....and when it is in night mode the capturing (image and video) are unstable and did not capture good images and videos in night mode
you had great job done to improved performance of 5800xm but there are some bugs are present whick you was not solved that was when we go to application folder or open two or more application(like music player ,Web,message and many more applications)this take more time to open minimized application and some time phone did not responding and became hang when we closed all open applications..........

I just update my nokia 5800 Xpress Music to the 40.0.005 software version. The update was successful. After the update session, i found that my phone can not perform the auto-rotate display (to the landscape mode) like the usual, even though i already set the sensor setting.

hi i have loaded the new updater as the system stated and am currently running windows 7 home premium and on another pc vista buisness yet but do not work with nokia updater as it alsways says "never finda device " and upon loading the file at about 43% it comes up with a error"err0r 1904 module .c:\program files\common files\nokia\tss\productapiloader\ta_productapiloader failed to registar":hresult.-2147024891 contact your support personal"please assist as i am bombed as these to where working fine with the older version and was loading correctly ,please advise

it would be great if your update software would work with a phone(the n900 )in update mode your software think about this for a sec will not update a phone in update mode strange decisions
