Java Runtime for Symbian Beta updated

We have been developing Java Runtime 2.1 for Symbian^3 and now offer it as a beta release for selected S60 5th Edition devices. The Java Runtime 2.1 Beta includes a number of new features compared to the Java Runtime 2.0 Beta that we shared here earlier. Java Runtime 2.1 Beta also fixes several issues you reported to us in the Nokia Beta Labs forum.
We hope that you download Java Runtime 2.1 Beta and continue to report any issues you may encounter. We will use your feedback to enhance the final Java Runtime 2.1 release.

sorry for the ignorance, but what exactly does this java rub time app
All Java based application need a Java Runtime environment to run on. This is an update to the environment to improve how Java Applications operate. Hope this helped explain in some way.

I didn't notice anything after installing this. Could somebody name couple of apps where I should notice the difference between past and current.
@Mass: You won't notice things like that, it's more of an update to the system behind all applications which are JAVA based, to make them run better, and so that developers can make new applications with improved functionality and/or more features.
Thats terrific new perfomance, more stable than previous.
New installation of all java base. In opera mini. In the bottom of middle thats appeared new task button is edit. So far i didnt encounter bugs.
I ll post if I find it.
There are some user visible improvements listed in https://betalabs.nokia.com/apps/java-runtime-for-Symbian/more_info. What we hope you would notice is for example that the first application screen will be displayed faster when starting up a Java application. There should be noticeable difference for example when starting up Opera Mini.
I used to use my java apps running in half of screen and every things look so small on my 5800...but sine i have this, i can run them in full and also they run faster...thx.

I am trying to develop a sample that creates a menu item(Read aloud) in the menu after the message is opened. Clicking the menu item reads aloud your message text. This is nothing but text to speech conversion using MIDP programming. Can anyone help me in this regards.

After installing this in my N97 mini i cant download anything from the internet. When i try to download my device gets hanged. I am unable to open ovi store and maps also dont work. I am using a CFW on my N97 mini RM 555. Earlier it was working fine but after installing this i am facing the above problems.
