Hi,

First of all, thanks for the excellent contribution from the Nokia Beta Labs community to Ovi Contacts 1.5 development. We made small tweaks to the Ovi Contacts 1.5 client and thought you might appreciate an update as well. This release introduces a graphics facelift, together with some performance improvements. The new release is available for S60 5th Edition and S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2 products. Check out the latest version, and please keep us posted on what you think.

It's really sad guys... Nothing to S60 FP1.... I have an e71 and i dont have any update for ovi contacts, still on ver.1.1

I can´t find it! I have installed OVI Contacts 1.5, but i can´t find the Icon to start it up. I looked in Programs/Apps/Office or Games - it is installed - but there is no icon. Could you please help me? I have a Nokia N97 with latest Firmware V11.045 EURO1. Thank you!

^^ go into contacts and press the 2nd icon in the tab bar at the top that says ovi

PLEASE FIX NOKIA BETA LABS RSS FEED ERRORS!!
This error is around for whole 1 week, and its still to be fixed. I am facing this problem in Internet Explorer 8 on Windows Vista with Service Pack 2 (fully patched), 32-bit. Kindly take notice. I am unable to keep track of happenings on Nokia Beta Labs.

When, when, when, WHEEEN!!!!! is this app going to be AVAILABLE for ALL Nokia phones?????? I can't believe that I have to use a 3rd party app because Nokia doesn't have enough good developers for a final release. You're still losing the war against Blackberry. All my friends are going to Blackberry because they love Blackberry Chat, even knowing that the phone is not good enough. The worst thing is that you now that, everyone are telling you the same over and over again, and... you don't do ANYTHING. All of us with N78, E71, N96 and other models have to throw away our phones because now is crap?

thanks for the update - is it possible to have a small list of changes since the last one?

In spanish, there are 2 "Salir" options. Seems like the 1st one is "Desconectar" (disconnect) while the one at the bottom is "Salir" (quit)

forget it cmoreno, they're currently stopping their support for our 'old' device.. They earned a lot of bucks from us and other people who bought e71 and other older models back then.. And with this kind of betalabs 'behaviour', it's very obvious that nokia is forcing us to buy their latest device.. But sadly, people starts buying latest device from nokia's direct competitor.. Wrong huge step from the noks i think..

@betalabs guys: work harder will ya? I dont care whether nokia will stop the support for older device or not.. I'm already dissapointed long time ago. and be careful, most customer will remember this lack-of-support thingy, and nokia will lose their trust and their FRIENDS trust (i believe they're telling their friends about this lack-of-support thing by now.. And it is spreading widely)..

Nice effort,
But i personnaly use msn, gtalk, and skype.
I'm tired to see nokia trying to reproduce existing 3rd party success, but never integrate existing ones.
Why can't i use directly my gmail account ???
This would force me to add "again" all my friends !

Arg, please integrate existing solutions before trying to copy them, please !

@armjcv: obviously, you will not see the new facelift.. E63 hasn't supported by latest ovi contacts yet.. (or maybe will not, just like my E71).. This new version is beautiful, unfortunately we can't enjoy it

when i try to install it in my 5320 Xpress Music, it say that the app isn't compatible with the phone, and it won't let me install it.

when i scroll up to see the conversation then it will not go to last msg sent it will stuck . And if i whant to see the last msg i have to scroll down every time my phone is e72 .... I hop u fix this isue
