Minor updates to Nokia Software Updater beta

NSU startup

Today we have a few minor updates to share regarding the Nokia Software Updater beta.

Changes in the latest release (version 3.0.156) include:

Automatic device SW checker
Improved download time estimation
Improved download reliability
Support for widget type application updates (N8)
Minor UI changes

The improvements in both the download time estimation and download reliability have been influenced by the testing that has been done within the beta community. So, on behalf of the NSU team, thanks for your contribution!

No, No and one more time NO! Where is the support for 5th edition phones?! You really did huge mistakes with 5th phones and specially with N97, didn't you?

I just used this yesterday (b4 this update) when Ovi suite would fail to update an N95. It worked well!

too true mate.....dey hv hardly created any apps for the n97....if dey did a few-clumsy stupid ones......v want content nokia.....CONTENT.....MAKE SUM GUD APPS......AFTER tHE competition(make ur app) u hv a few thousands of gud ideas....now make them.....create them....

I spent time to report easily fixable ui issues like making it way too easy to needlessly reinstall firmware (same version) and the horrific colour scheme, black on gray.
You are just wasting Nokia's and our time don't you?

NOKIA! HOW CAN U ABANDON US, NOKIA N97 USERS? All new n important apps like nokia panorama, angry birds are released exclusively onli for N8 n N900! N now onli widget update for N8?
I felt as if I hav being ripped off by NOKIA! I bought diz expensive N97, considered high end for da price, n now diz fone has been left dead in da water!
OH C'MON! nokia! Pls release a symbian^3 without coverflow, special effects for NOKIA N97! So we, nokia n97 users can enjoy all da latest apps developed for symbian 3! =D

i agree with chengiet. i also feel a bit dissapointed with nokia. games such as angry birds are only available on N8 or the N900. i'm afraid the future will hold no more than dissapointments as nokia seem to focus their attention solely on n8 users and pretty much forget other users (such as n97)
