Nokia Internet Radio for Series 40: listen to tens of thousands of radio stations worldwide

We are pleased to introduce an Internet Radio client for Series 40 phones that ties into the Nokia Internet Radio service! Just like its smartphone counterpart, this application brings access to tens of thousands of radio stations all over the world, and it extends the Nokia Internet Radio offering to many more Nokia users, especially those in emerging markets.

Stations are available, organised by genre, language, and region.

Search & discover

Find exactly what you're looking for or discover something new. Handy search make it easy to locate a specific station.

Favourites

Your favourite stations and recently played stations are easy to return to.

Background playing

Internet radio supports hide and unhide functions. Whenever you need to check your Inbox or look up a contact, let the radio continue playing in the background and you will not miss any wonderful programmes.

Purchase music

If you like a piece of music you hear on a supported radio station and want to keep it on your phone forever, you can buy it immediately from Ovi Music.

This application is currently labeled as beta, is under active development, and is compatible with the Nokia X2 and Nokia X3 (-00, -01, and -02). More devices will be added to the compatibility list later.

After you try it out, we would appreciate it if you could report bugs, provide suggestions, and share with us your thoughts about it. Your feedback is important to us. We plan to publish it to Ovi Store when the beta trial is concluded.
