Nokia Image Space was an experimental service designed to enable mobile phone users to create geographically structured content and access it seamlessly via the web or mobile device. The research phase for Nokia Image Space has now ended and the imagespace.nokia.com/beta website will close at the end of this month. Any pictures you shared on the Nokia Image Space service will continue to reside on Flickr under your control.
Through this research trial we have learned more about contextualizing photos, and have been able to share this information with different projects. One of the findings from the beta was the interest towards mobile browsing of contextualized content. This is one aspect we have been taking a look at lately.
I want to thank everybody who took time to try out the beta service and provided us with feedback.
Kindly,
Seve
