Nokia Notifications beta trial concluded; now available in Ovi Store

The Nokia Notifications team would like to thank the Beta Labs community for the valuable feedback we’ve received during the Nokia Notifications beta trial! The items discussed here very much reflected what we've thought within the team, e.g. adding emails and chat messages. There were some also some interesting new ideas, like having the widget also in the privacy page.

Some of the suggestions unfortunately are not possible without changes to the platform applications, and those are very rarely done to in-market devices. There were also a lot of comments about the calendar reminders, which unfortunately will be working only from certain software release onwards.

All in all, though, it was good to see that the widget adds value to Nokia devices, and we are glad to offer the same notifications experience to customers as in Symbian^3.

The new version (with some installation bugs fixed) is available in Ovi Store for these devices:

Nokia N97
Nokia N97 Mini
Nokia C6

Note: Please remove the Beta Labs version first before installing the new Nokia Notifications
