If you have a Nokia N8 you've probably got photos, videos, and music on there, and you take them with you wherever you go. But sometimes, you’d like to get them out in the open and show your friends, too.
This is where Nokia Big Screen comes in.
With this mobile application for phones with HDMI output (like the Nokia N8 and Nokia E7), you can turn your phone into a portable media center that you can easily connect to any TV set that supports HDMI. This way, you can show all your good stuff on the big screen of a high-definition TV and play your music through a home theatre system. Whenever the situation calls for it.
The application opens automatically when you connect your phone to any high-definition TV with an HDMI cable. Controlling Nokia Big Screen is easy, too. You can use the application from the phone touch display or by wirelessly connecting a Bluetooth keyboard or Wii Remote to your phone. Simple as that.
With Nokia Big Screen, you can play videos in high definition on the big screen, subtitles included. Or, listen to music from your phone with a surround-sound home theatre system.

i think i find a bug, i connect my n8 to my lg hd tv and im not able to see photos and after that i can see pics on the phone until i reset my phone
Plz add support for the CA-75U video cable
Seems like a killer app but I don´t have HDMI on my TV so it would be appreciated if you add support for the CA-75U video cable....

i watched the video on youtube, i'm so annoyed i dont have thw n8 yet but thats something i want bad and will have soon. An amazing app really very good, interface looks clean and you can use a WIimote too, i noticed the size of the touch buttons on the n8 screen they could be bigger i think, i just wanna help. I'm sure with construcctive critasism and helpfull bug hints it will blossoms can not wait to try it out. Love your work guys and your way of doing things all the best,

This is useful application but with cable huh......in 21 century.......old fashion...please make for us loyal nokia users some application we can use to stream pictures and movies made with phone directly on tv or computer but via wifi not cable. Something like dlna or you upnp.
I'll second this last comment ..... having a media server app for the n8 would be ideal. Having a PS3 I can stream music movies and photos from my laptop perfectly to my TV so why not from the n8 too as it has full wifi capabilities and is already included in my home network.
