Update to Soundtrckr - new features and bug fixes

We are happy to bring version a new version of Soundtrckr (1.0.9) for Symbian ^3 and S60 5th Edition touch devices to Nokia Beta Labs with a of new features and bug fixes in response to the incredible useful number of feedback received from the Nokia Beta Labs community.

We have also implemented Soundtrckr for S60 5th Edition Touch devices with Java Runtime 1.4 (the one installed on devices by default) thus not requiring the installation on Java Runtime 2.1 from the Beta Labs. However, for the best possible experience on S60 devices we recommend using JRT 2.1 and the corresponding version of Soundtrckr. 

New features for Symbian ^3 and S60 5th Edition (Java Runtime 2.1 and 1.4)

  • Song progress bar on player
  • Diplay next song/artist on player
  • Add picture to profile from local file and from camera
  • Password recovery at sign-in screen
  • New share station UI
  • Availability of Soundtrckr on Java Runtime 1.4

Bug fixes in S60 5th Edition version:

  • Nearby station application error
  • Comment on station grey/black background
  • Friends station grey/black background scroll
  • Log-in screen covers the word password
  • Various performance fixes

I get an error message when trying to install on my N8. "Installation Failed: Unable to install application. Authorization failed".

Please uninstall the previous version. Update your n8 os software and install Soundtrckr again. Please let me know

Sorry to hear. Can you please make sure you remove any previos version of soundtrckr from your device and that you are using the version we compiled for Symbian ^3?

Ahaha grazie... Installa java 2.1 e poi reinstalla la versione corrispondente di soundtrckr. Funzionera molto meglio... Ma e' Vero sfruttiamo al massimo le risorse del telefono

Using the Java 1.4 version on my X6 ... Soundtrckr is painfully slow to start playing, even on a Wifi connection. Also has some screen display glitches.

I'll try Java 2.1 and the appropriate version of Soundtrckr ... hopefully it's a Java version issue - if so I'd suggest dropping the Java 1.4 version for 5th Edition devices.
