Recommended update for Nokia Bubbles beta

We've released new installation packages for Nokia Bubbles. Everyone who downloaded Bubbles during February 4 – 10 is advised to reinstall the bubbles using the new installation packages.

This new version should work better with Ovi Store and other Qt applications, although it is still expected that there will be some problems until we can move to use a more stable (non-development) version. Otherwise, the package contains the same version of bubbles as before, with the exception of the maps bubble. That was taken out of the release because of problems that were found.

We've also published complete uninstall instructions. If you tried to uninstall bubbles or want to do so, you can follow those to restore your device back to its original state.

I also had same question as @brainimpact ! But since I downloaded and installed Bubbles yesterday only, I assume that I am having latest version.

Check following.

@brainimpact @suyog - You can just reinstall the new package over the old one.

@phessler - The qtdowngrade package will restore the same version of Qt as in the PR1.1 release so it should eliminate any problems caused by the Qt beta version.

Any chance the profile bubbles could be General, Silent and Offline? Or have the three profiles configurable in settings?

When I tap on a bubble - some more appear as further options but further taps get me no where even after updating to the latest version.

@lincolnroy, you need to drag the bubble with your finger above the bubbles that appear (=drop points) and raise the finger to activate the action that those drop points have.

@bat400, we have plans to have the profiles user selectable just like the friends currently are in the future releases. So stay tuned for future updates!

Please help me out, to remove Qt examples I installed qt downgrade, but by mistake instead of installing it in phone memory I installed ot in memory card, now the problem is that OVI store is not working without the memory card and I am unable to install qt downgrade again so can anybody help me please....
