Greetings!
Today we have released Nokia Software Updater for Mac to share with the Nokia Beta Labs community. It's a simple application for getting the latest device software updates.
This release candidate is still in the development phase, and the plan is to keep the trial ongoing until further notice. We will release updates here based on the feedback we receive (critical improvements will be prioritized), but would also like to gather improvement ideas for future releases.

A very much needed mac app. Keep up the good work guys and keep releasing mac apps. You'd be surprised at how many mac users use Nokia devices.. Just 10 in my family alone!

Nice! the need of use a PC to update my 5530 was really annoying. hope you get support for XM 5530 in a further update. Keep working !

A month too late. I'd be more excited about this if Symbian wasn't dead in the water now because of the Microsoft "takeover". I doubt my 5800 will get any updates now.
Finally its here, i thought it would never come. All i need now is the Ovi Suite for Mac OS X.

Die Software läuft zwar gut, aber nach einem FW Update meines Nokia C5 ging gar nichts mehr. Muss das Telefon jetzt einschicken :-(

I would like an option to prevent this software from autostarting everytime I switch on my Mac... I look for it in the Accounts Menu Preferences but It doesn't appear there... So... How can I do that?

We will make needed changes to "Automatic update check".
In the future it will be OFF default and then it won't launched automatically after each login.

It dosent work. After downloading firmware, the device restarts, the "installing software" bar says "less than 1 minute left". After 30 minute I disconnect the device w/o updating. Nokia E71
I'm trying to update my c5 phone but the latest version on the mac updater is v062.000 and not like it's said on the website v071.005.
What can I do to update finally?

I have a Mac and this wondeful e6, but can't make a software update. I must use a "PC".
No words. This was my last Nokia. It's a great phone with some flaws. But I loved it. But when I can't update it via my Mac, I will buy an iPhone. Bye bye Nokia.
