Nokia Diagnostics experimental beta trial concluded

Written by Sami Halinen, Nokia Diagnostics team

During the past year the Nokia Diagnostics team has showcased a simple mobile diagnostics application for Symbian devices. The trial period is now ending and the application will be removed from Nokia Beta Labs. We would like to express our warm thanks to everyone that tried out the app and gave us feedback. Your activity surpassed all our expectations. At this moment we don’t have plans to productize Nokia Diagnostics and it will be moved back to R&D for further analysis.

Well even if being a nice little app, I never saw the broad appeal. It's an app suitable for the 'front end' of a service line, doing quick tests on warranty/service request.

The only place I could see a usage for end users, is for people buying a used phone, to verify that the hardware is OK. But still it is likely to be too technical for most users.

@Packet01
Well if you READ the heading of the post you comment in, you would see that they wrote "trial concluded"...
If you also read the body of the posting above you would find: "the application will be removed from Nokia Beta Labs."
So it should NOT come as a great surprise that it has been removed when you look two months later...

BUT that said, they COULD (and should?) have put the sentence "archived! Trial concluded" on the top of each of the three pages, in a larger/more visible font.
