Propose a new name for Wellness Diary

Hi all!

Have you already tried the latest version 2.03 of Wellness Diary? You can download it from Ovi Store.

Thanks to your helpful feedback, Wellness Diary is approaching the commercial launch. Although the name Wellness Diary has served us well during the trial period, we need to find a new final name for the application.

The new name should consist of only one word and it should somehow describe the application and the idea that Wellness Diary is your companion in wellness.

Write your name proposals as comments to this blog post by May 20. You can send your proposals also to wellness.diary@nokia.com.

Compound Names (1 word but really two stuck together). Most single names are too generic in my opinion for this app

The application is excellent, and I use it every day (I have a gold trophy, you know :)). Of course, it's a bit geeky, and kind of touchy-feely. I think a lot of people could be cynical about it, so the name is going to be important. I've given a few (fairly pathetic) suggestions above, but maybe the discussion here should include what the name should achieve, and who the target audience for the application are.

For example, a name like 'Holistic' might turn some people off, but be attractive to others.

Some ideas from me: Shape, Steps, Balance, Breath, Fitness and Vigor.
Of these I would personally choose "Nokia Shape".
Get in shape with Nokia Shape :)

I like Nokia Fit, and Ovi Fit... they remind me of Nintendo's Wii Fit which is also related to health.

Nokia Health Tracker (being in line with SportsTracker) also looks nice(ish).
Nokia Harmony seems interesting but I wouldn't have any idea what this is about if I just saw it on the Ovi Store for the first time, so it's not very fitting (no pun intended).

"Get a life" has a nice dubious ring to it.
The health fanatics can read it as life improvement, the rest of us in another way...

A slightly less sarcastic suggestion would be "Ovigor", joining "OVI" and "vigor".

And in the more humorous department "OVIFORM" literally meaning egg-shaped.

And in the neutral "Ovicaprid", which would give the icon as well.

To be honest, "Wellness", feels very balanced and encompassing. It doesn't take too dieting or fitness of a tone, but still appeals to people interested to either. The only downside of a non-aggressive name like Wellness, is that it is soft. That softness, though, can stand out.

I think it's not Latin to be the best language to express wellness. I think that Greek is more fascinating and, for some words, more successful. In fact I think that the best word to describe this application is "Bio". But, being it vague, I suggest to add the word "Helper". So my entry to this blogpost is "Bio Helper". There's no point in the name "Health" because it's restrictive to the health status. I think that it's not only about health, but lifestyle. So "Bio Helper" is a name which describes better the app itself: it helps to to improve your life. Not only your health.
P.S. I made a draw to give you the same image I have in mind when I think about an app like Wellness Diary. It's more like an enlarged icon =D
