Nokia Ovi Suite 3.1.1 Beta graduates to official release

Nokia Ovi Suite 3.1.1 Beta has now graduated and we’ve released Nokia Ovi Suite 3.1.1.75 for direct downloads at www.nokia.com/ovisuite. We’re also updating current Nokia Ovi Suite 3.1.1 Beta users to this official release. We’re planning to start web update for existing Nokia Ovi Suite 3.1.0.91 (and older) users in the coming weeks, so then Nokia Ovi Suite will notify existing users about the new update.
Getting feedback about a product is important for us, so that we can see what are the currently most pressing issues to improve. You can continue providing feedback for us in Nokia Support Discussions’s Nokia Ovi Suite forum.
We would like to thank everybody who participated in this round of Nokia Ovi Suite Beta testing and who gave us important information about how well the product works. We wish to see you again soon, in our next update.

Why haven't you made it possible to sync to your own Ovicalendar thru OviSuite or N8 for that matter? Don't you trust your own system?

Hi aliqudsi, in this final release Nokia Ovi Suite 3.1.1.75, there was few corrections related to maps loading with Nokia Ovi Suite.

Hi bj185, we've simplified our product concept related to sync to ovi.com. During the spring, we removed also contacts sync to ovi.com from the Nokia Ovi Suite.

Saylinen: so what you say is that you don't think that Ovicalendar is any good. If it was good you would make it possible to sync with N8??

Hi,
the menu item "Synchronizácia/Synchronizovať teraz/Kalendár a úkoly" is not accurate by slovak. In my opinion, it will be "Synchronizácia/Synchronizovať teraz/Kalendár a úlohy". Word "úkoly" is not right in this case.

Ovi suite slowed my vista pc
I'd like to upgrade the Album Information of my songs. Would this be available in future?
The latest version has been released, and there are still so many things wrong with Ovi Suite.
It's a shame that even though the latest version of Ovi Suite has been released, it STILL will not sync bookmarks with Firefox 4 or 4, even though they've been available for months.
The closure of calendar.ovi.com means there's also no way without Outlook to edit calendar entries on devices.
Messages are only synchronised one way, meaning that if you delete something, it still needs to be deleted again on the other location.
Ovi Store integration is totally unnecessary
There's no regular synchronising, like every xx hours
The interface is TOTALLY useless from a business perspective
And most importantly, it's STILL too slow to transfer data to and from the device.
If this is the future of Nokia, the N8 will be my last Nokia device.
Sync with Thunbderbird was lost for a long time now. I find this really annoying.
Any plans to get this problem solved?
Syncing bookmarks from FireFox 6.0.2 continually fails with OviSuite 3.1.1.90; any fixes?
I am new to this. I've had only Nokia phones since 1997, why are they becoming so useless? I have a N5800, great phone, OK calendar feature but there is NO WAY to see it on line, interact with it on line and worse it won't sync with anything from Mozilla Thunderbird which is the best mail program around. Reading past posts it seems that Nokia don't give a stuff. Am I right?
