Explore the updated Foursquare for Series 40

Recently a new version of the Foursquare for Series 40 application became available in Ovi Store. It includes a long list of improvements and new features; such as, Explore, Specials and official Ovi Maps. We believe that adding all those improvements is the best way to show our appreciation to the feedback and ideas we have got from the Beta Labs users – that means you! Now it is time for the whole world to enjoy what we have developed together, here in Nokia Beta Labs.

Although the application is now available in Ovi Store, the development will continue and we will keep the project still active in Nokia Beta Labs for some time. Thus, give us feedback on what you would like to see in the next versions of the Foursquare for Series 40 application.

Here foursquare co-founder, Naveen Selvadurai, introduces the new version and explains how important it is for them to be able to tap in to the huge Series 40 audience.

It is certainly a great application and Foursquare can tap huge audience with it and definitely a good move, however, S40 series phones are mostly famous in developing countries with lower budget to spend and relatively less exposure to online activities, people are less like to pay money for higher end phones in those countries, which also mean there will be more and more S40 users in those countries, now it would be better if there is something done in regards of bandwidth charges. I do think it shall turnout profitable for Foursquare down the line, on a side note <a href="http://mobilephones.pk/nokia-prices/" title="http://mobilephones.pk/nokia-prices/">nokia prices 2011</a><br /> need to be re adjusted, so that more users purchase nokia mobiles and apps.
