Nokia Sleeping Screen beta updated. Use your own background images!

Thank you very much for the feedback on Nokia Sleeping Screen! Based on your feedback we have added some new features and made a few fixes to the application. The update is available for Symbian phones equipped with AMOLED screens.

The most wanted feature: use your own background images! It is now possible to add your own images from the photo gallery.
"Add my own" tool will convert your photos & drawings to be suitable for Nokia Sleeping Screen
Completely re-designed QML based settings view
New experimental clock style
There are now two selectable clock & notifications styles:
- original "colorful" style
- new "plain clock" style, which gives more room for the background images
New pre-installed image themes and additional images to the old themes
Follows phone orientation when keys are locked (i.e. now supports landscape)

We also want to thank those that have contributed to the design & development: Brenda, Jyri, Jukka, Sampsa, Tuomas, Joep and Oleksandr.

Can you publish some Picture specifications for best look onthe sleeping screen(resolution, color-depth, Minimum contrast, available colors)?? This would be great for creating my own Backgrounds with Photoshop.

@Freelancer0111 Cool! :) You can use your preferred tools modifying images or even the phone image editor. The edited & saved images will appear in the beginning of the NSS "Add my own" selection gallery.

A very nice and amazing application. I am really happy with it however, I miss only the misses calls/ messages notification when it is in the specified sleeping duration on the light red clock.. Suggest that a small sing is added in red too in order to indicate a missed call or message as I find this important for myself and the people receiving night support / emergency calls or so.

I have a problem with the new version: I works, but when I want to alter the settings (click on it in the settings menu), the screen just goes black and remains black. I have a N8 with Symbian Anna.

@jari: yes, this solved the problem with the "blank/black setting screen". I uninstalled qt-quickcomp first and then run the package with the smartinstaller making sure I had network connection at that point.
Now everything works fine. Thanks a lot!

I downloaded the previous version to my laptop and then bluetooth to my N8-00 and it worked fine. I then downloaded 'Anna' and now I get the message 'No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it' I have symbian anna installed which is the only change since last sleeping screen download.
Can anyone help please

I know this is not the rite post/topic for this but i am frustrated of waiting, when will symbian anna available in Pakistan, i have posted and writes many time to nokia but no reply from then at-least u can tell me about that. now its 29th of august but still no Anna? what is that? please help us out....

It works for my N8 with Symbian Anna (recently upgraded), only unninstalling QT Components and NSS old version, and installing NSS with the http://betalabs.nokia.com/c?n=25271&t=http%3A%2F%2Fnds2.betalabs.nokia.c... file (the smart installer file) and automatically downloaded by this the QT Components.
