I had to uninstall previous version to install this one, (reboot after disable swype on functions, reboot after uninstall it too) you may add this kind of instruction on installation page , it works good, smooth.
I uninstalled previous version of Swype downloaded from Ovi Store after disabling it in settings, then rebooted. After that I installed this beta and again rebooted. I am not getting the new split screen qwerty. It looks just like the old one.

Do you happen to have the Anna update on your device, assuming you have a Symbian^3 device? Swype requires an Anna device to have split-screen portrait qwerty.

Insalled Swype with german language and split-screen ist ok. But the settings wont work. From swype and from the menu i couldnt get the settings. If i want to setup, nothing happens, so i couldnt get back the normal keyboard or deinstall swype. (N8 with ANNA)

Great update. My #N8 with #Anna seems faster overall too.
The split-screen does not seem to wotk on all apps however. Replying to sms is converstion view for example seem to bring out the old full texting view and mode,

i do not know what phone or os version you are talking about, on the anna n8 i had the earlier version of swype 1.9 and i just downloaded this version 2.1, it was simple, just download it overwrites the earlier and after download asks you to reboot, thats it, you are ready to go, excellent job really fast and smooth, keep up the good job Nokia!
You can get to the settings by changing thehandset language to english. the phone will boot, and settings will be available. after reverting to the other language, settings will again be unavailable. input language swapping works however via the symbols key, regardless that othe settings cannot be accessed in other languages (swedish and finnish have the same bug as german)
i do not get the new split-screen, only the old view. N8 and Anna.
why the request page could not found?
I think there is a bug in the german translation, because when i uninstall the german language pack i can use the settings, when i install it i can't use the settings. For me it is a little bug, the rest works wonderful.

Settings does not work with Norwegian installed either. But I can change language by holding down the Q key

Almost forgot. Great updater. Split screen is great. One wish though. Why don't the keys use the theme settings for colors? They are much brighter than the theme OS use normally is.

So now I have installed the programme and have with my Nokia N8 since with write about news again the problem which gets out the programme and only in the second step start functioned

Works great on my N8, in addition to the standard package I installed the German Dictionary. Now I am just missing Thai ;-)

Appears to work as described. I didn't have to uninstall the old version before installing this version. I'm using Anna on Nokia C7.
Where can I get Malay language.when I want to download I cannot find Malay language on ovi store.
Makes all a little bit to slow, opening.
