Soundtracker Radio version 1.7 now available

We are happy to share release 1.7 of Soundtracker Radio for S60 5th editions and S^3 devices including Symbian Anna and Symbian Belle. Soundtracker 1.7 further improves the musical experience and fixes a number of issues signaled to us but the Nokia Beta Labs community. Specifically:

  • Symbian Anna text player bug
  • Symbian Belle performance
  • Hide password on setting page
  • Scrolling bug for my stations and nearby list
  • Improved performance of my stations and nearby list
  • Friends' Stations page improvement
  • Fixed bug of first item selection by editing my stations list
  • Optimized size for album images for my stations and nearby list
  • Email feedback with more info about the device
  • MP3 player bug

With this version we separated Symbian S^3 version of Soundtracker from Symbian Anna and Symbian Belle due to different implementation of the Java runtime in different devices.

We recommend to remove any previous build of Soundtracker and install this new build.  And we also recommend installing Java runtime 2.1 beta for S60 5th edition devices before installing Soundtracker.

My comment is not regarding sound tracker..........i just wnt to say that even with Nokia betalabs symbians phones dont have proper benchmarking sodtwares.............

we appreciate what this division is doing....but there are a lot of empty areas to address. No chm reader per say when targeting population including business community, doctors, engineers and students... what a smartphone phone when its not smart enough to read a document file when other os's can.. we would like if nokia besides its hardware reputation provide thorough software support also and keep its customers and fanboys happy and there( i.e == great results and benchmark).
