Nokia Transport 2.1 beta update for Lumia phones offers a more personalized experience
Tue, 2012-06-05 11:29Hello everyone!
Thank you so much for all your great feedback, it really helped us improve our offering and continue building momentum. We are pleased to announce a new updated version of Nokia Transport for your Lumia phone adding new cool features we think you are going to love!
What’s new in this release?
- Detailed Line View—Counting stops is a thing of the past
Wait, is this my stop? Or is the next one? With Nokia Transport you can be sure, with the ability to view upcoming station names and stopping times while in transit, so you can enjoy your journey, even to someplace new. - Multiple Live Tile Support—Your favorite destinations with a tap
You can now pin your favorite destinations to your start screen, making it easier than ever to quickly find the best route there from wherever you happen to be. We don’t know how many you can add, we tried fifteen different locations! You can pin your favorite restaurant, that perfect little park, or even your home. So no matter where you are, you can find your way with just a tap. - Better integration with Bing search
It is now easy to launch Nokia Transport from Bing search results (where available). You tell where you want to go and we show you the fastest way to get there using public transportation.
If you have the previous beta version on your phone, you will get a Marketplace notification of the update. Otherwise you can install it by following the installation instructions. However, if you do not see it in your local Marketplace yet, please be patient as it takes some time to make it's way around the world to all regions.
We would love to receive your feedback about Nokia Transport 2.1, including any enhancements that would help make it easier for you to use. Please make sure to rate our service by answering the NPS questions in the client. And if you would like to provide more detailed feedback, use the forum, located here on Beta Labs. Our team monitors your feedback and will respond to you via the forum.
Thank you!

Transport or Transit ?
@unlistedacrobat - Both, actually, depending on your region settings.
English(International) = Nokia Transport
English = Nokia Transit
And in other regions it is translated to the local language.

@unlistedacrobat it is "Nokia Transport". The localized version in US and Canada is "Nokia Transit". I hope this helps!
