New release of App Highlights now available in beta for Lumia phones

App Highlights was created by Nokia to help Lumia phone owners discover the best and most locally relevant apps and content in the Windows Phone Marketplace. 

Today we are releasing a new beta version of App Highlights with an enhanced user experience and a number of cool new features.  In particular, the UI provides access to all featured content in a horizontal scroll, which makes it very easy to get to what's interesting for you. 

When you open the app, the first thing you will see is the lists of the newest and most interesting local and global content, which are updated periodically.  After playing with it, you will start to realize that behind the scenes Nokia’s local and global content experts are keeping you up to date with a hand-picked selection of the newest and hottest apps.  You'll save time and find new surprises on a regular basis.

On the other hand, the filtering possibilities within this app can help you find what's important for you, whether it be new free word games, new music apps, or all apps related to "geocaching".  You can set up a filter for free/paid content, by category, or by keyword.  And when you save a search our app will let you know when there are new apps published that match your interests.

We hope you will enjoy this update and appreciate how we are selecting the best content for Lumia users around the world and presenting it in an easy-to-use app.

Great improvements compared to existing App Highlights.. Just update the Nokia exclusives.
