Wellness Diary trial concluded. Beta service to be discontinued at the end of the year.
Fri, 2012-09-28 14:21
We have made the decision to discontinue the Wellness Diary trial at the end of this year. Wellness Diary has been a beta service for the monitoring of your day-to-day wellness, helping you to build healthy habits into your daily routine.
We are now concluding the trial, and are very grateful to all Nokia Beta Labs users for the feedback, suggestions and insights on Wellness Diary and for all the lessons we learned from it. At this time, however, we will not turn the service into a commercial product as we continue to focus on our core service offerings and to further increase our investments in location-based services as an area of competitive differentiation for Nokia products.
Even though we will discontinue the Wellness Diary trial, you will continue to have access to your data and will also be able to use the service if you wish to. From 1 January 2013 onwards, however, we won’t continue updating the service and there will be no connection to other services or support for it.
Thank you for using and contributing to the Wellness Diary trial! Your participation has been very valuable for us.
Your Wellness Diary team

Sorry to hear that, was my favourite app!
My favourite app !!!
Please, please let it live!
Mackleinton come on!! come oon!! this is the best app of it kind! don't shut it down!!
very sad. the team working on wellness diary said they were to release an update a year ago?
what happened to the statement that we support Belle phones to 2016 ? So disappointed with Nokia when you close down the best app you have.never ever again a Nokia phone..808 pureview.N8,N95,N82
This decision is just as stupid as giving Sports Tracker away...
Maybe Nokia wants to be buried alive?
This app should be one of most promoted apps in all Nokias phones!
Is this app gonna be in any Nokia phones, ever?
Mmm no entendí
Will you allow people to download or export their data?
Sad to see this app go.. It was one of the best Symbian had to offer.
yes, I like this app - please go on with it! I always hate to see ads for new apps everywhere - but for iphone and android only. This way Nokia slowly forces their clients to go for those ... pity, I love my symbian phone
well i come to see the news and what new app i can download and the first read is this??!! i really nope you reach the goal with swype guys...
It was one of my favorites on my 701.
This is really a shame. This App was ready for Nokia Store as a normal App. Great App, at par with commercials app in the market. Nokia has lost is direction and is killing both Symbian and users Faith. First Maemo/Meego and now Symbian. Instead of deploying more good apps for Symbian now they are killing this OS. Really a shame.
I'm sorry to hear about discontinuation the appl. Is there a way to get export about the data stored to wellness Diary? E.g. in CSV format.
nooo.!!! This os my favorite app. Please keep it...
I love this app, having just found it. I am physically disabled, have Asperger's syndrome and suffer severe depression. This app allows me to do something each day and track it. It is the best help, for my illness, that I've found in 2 years of treatment.
I want to update my C7, but how can I get install files for this app then? Shame..
While for Wellness Diary there is unfortunately no option to export your data, you still have access to it on your mobile phone in offline mode.
Best Regards,
Wellness Diary team
Sad, this tool was very useful
but as you don't maintain it anymore and it still randomly crashes and lost data, I've decided not to use it anymore and just have uninstalled it from my N8...
I'd tried to make an excel sheet just to still follow my wellness data (except steps...)
maybe someont know another nice tool like this, working well on Belle Refresh?
I think they could make it so it can work whit out using Nokia account just like basic app. The app needs to be finnished not killed. Nokia Beta labs open your eyes your killing good apps. We all know Symbian and MeeGo delopvers are history but killing Nokia only legacy doesnt change anything but piss off old Loyal users.
Don't do this to me! And to make things worse, for one reason or other, the app signed itself out, and I can't seem to log in again. Can you help, so I can at least keep on tracking?
If you would consider to continue anyway, let us know asap!!!!
I agree with Mikko.Tenhunen. Let it live on.
I Hope by "access to data" you mean you will be providing a way to export the date before you close the service down.... I have a lot of data there that I want to keep!!

How to reinstall Wellness Diary after firmware upgrade?
how will continue use data and this service
how will continue use data and this service
How can we export the data? I have years of step counter data in Wellness Diary and would really love to export this to excel to play around with some analysis.
Export function has been requested by so many people over the years and now I guess it will never be added to the app. I want my data! The Nokia Step Counter had the export function.
I hate you! Bubbles, Wellness Diary, City Lens are gone! Why?
Also, Nokia Reader never made it to Nokia store. Of all Betalabs apps, it seems that only Nokia Situations was brougth up to Nokia Store... I imagine how all the Betalabs people must feel like after developping all such great apps and seEing all of them dying one by one ...
Would like to repeat a comment from Sebabar, above, as this is now the case for me, having taken the Belle refresh. How do I download the Wellness diary. Is there a .sis file somewhere? In the blog post you say it doesn't expire till the end of the month.
For everyone trying to get hold of this useful app and cannot because it got wiped out during the Belle update and because it's no longer on the Ovi/Nokia store to download ..

Dear Nokia team,
Thanks a lot for this app, but let this app live, develop it.
