Image Exchange experimental beta trial concluded; service continues to be available

After a fairly long and eventful beta trial period the Image Exchange team is now concluding the research part of the project. Existing users can continue to use the service as before, but Image Exchange will no longer appear in the Nokia Beta Labs catalog and we won’t actively monitor the feedback forums.
Nokia Image Exchange is a unique community for mobile photos

In January, we invited Nokia Image Exchange users to participate in a survey to gather insight and feedback about how the service is used and collect new ideas. As a result, we found out that many of our users needed improvements for sharing photos within the service and even more importantly to people outside the service.
Nokia Image Exchange adds improved image stream
After an intensive design and implementation phase, we are happy to announce that the public image stream at Nokia Image Exchange is again being updated with the latest photos from our users around the world!
We still plan to make some further refinements, but we hope you enjoy the improvements thus far and the return of the public image stream.

Planned improvements for Nokia Image Exchange
We have temporarily disabled the public image stream on Nokia Image Exchange while we work on improving the feature to better handle inappropriate content.
All other aspects of the service should work as before, including making photos public, sharing them with others, commenting on others' photos, and viewing public profiles.

New updates for Nokia Image Exchange
We previously launched a pre-Beta touch version of Nokia Image Exchange. This unfortunately had some issues that needed immediate attention. Today we have released fixes that should make the application more stable. Also included is some UI polish.
Likewise, the non-touch version is receiving update as well, also to address found issues.

Due to popular demand, we're releasing an early beta version of the Nokia Image Exchange mobile client for S60 touch devices. At the moment, this version has limited functionality and is still in need of UI polishing, but we wanted to get it in your hands for early testing. Due to an unfortunate hardware failure with Nokia Image Exchange servers we suffered from downtime, inconsistent connectivity and uploads. During this downtime uploaded images did not appear on Nokia Image Exchange service.
