After two and a half years of operation, the Nokia Sports Tracker beta service will close as of June 30, 2010. Thanks to all of you exercise enthusiasts who used the service and contributed valuable feedback to its improvement.
Nokia Sports Tracker archived from Beta Labs; service remains up and running

Hi all,
As you know, Sports Tracker was one of the first apps published at Beta Labs. It began as an experimental research prototype for sportsmen and women to collect and share their training activity and routes.
As part of some end-of-year gardening in the Beta Labs site, we've changed the status of Nokia Sports Tracker in our portfolio to "archived" since, from a research perspective, this beta has run its course.
Major update for Sports Tracker
Quick note: as many of you noticed (link, link, link, etc), Nokia Sports Tracker has been quietly updated to version 2.05. To get the new version, just open the app on your phone and click "Check for Updates".
GSMA's Best Mobile Internet Service award for Nokia Sports Tracker
Now, this is something we can all be proud of. This Wednesday, our own wonder-boys, the small but energetic Sports Tracker team, snatched the prestigious Best Mobile Internet Service award from GSMA's Global Mobile Awards 2009. Judges' comments:
