Ovi Maps was last week very happy to launch the first Macintosh supported version of maps.ovi.com, and so far the user response has been great.
We have however had some Macintosh users reporting some strange and difficult to reproduce problems with the Safari version of Ovi Maps. This is where YOU come in...

Nokia Friend View

A touch version of Friend View is now available for S60 5th Edition phones. It has been tested on the Nokia 5800 and N97. We hope Touch users will like it. If an S60 3rd edition Friend View client is already installed on your touch device, you should first uninstall that and then install the touch version.

It's time to do the semi-monthly update for Ovi Contacts. Recently, in the Beta Labs forum I made a promise that we'd update the 3rd Edition (original and FP1 versions) version of the client soon. Soon is now. It fixes some of the inconvenient capability loss issues we had, which translates to more reliable voice message and location sending features.

Nokia Messaging for Nokia 5800 XpressMusic: wrap-up + survey

Hello Beta Labs,
Thanks for your feedback regarding the 5800 client. It's only localized in English and Spanish (we're working right now on the other 20 languages we support for the release this month), but we're quite pleased that it's already cracked our top ten Nokia Messaging phone list in one week, and we've got thousands and thousands of users using their email on the 5800.
