Thanks. We are working on wider support for different operators and hope to offer even alternative ways for registering in future. I'm sorry that I don't have any time frame to give, but we are aware of the issues (big thanks to you guys!) and try our best to solve many of them.

We are working on the issue.

We are working on the issue. Time frame for this is in the wind, I'm afraid, as this deals with SMS coverage which in turn is needs partner support. We are in process of widening this support and negotiations are ongoing.

This is also a gradual process (widening the support), so I don't want to give too many promises not to disappoint anybody as there will be blank spots even after the first improvements.

I've been in movistar this morning and even they don't know what the problem is.

I managed to send the registration SMS yesterday a couple of times but no response.

@pablopoo: do you dare to go offline then try to go online for sake of verifying this problem? :) (I wouldn't, but I have to ask).

On a side note, I can't receive the config message for ovi sync either. Tried w/ 3 numbers I have to no success. Looks like a "partner-support" thing, as @jkaasala says

can't configure account on n95 from movistar chile

OK - I expect my operator won't charge me for the number of SMSs I tried in the last couple of days (all of them but 3-4 have status "Failed" and I've set my SMSs to last for at most 1hr)

What I've seen, in some circumstances movistar "says" the message was delivered. I can't tell if that's true or not, because registration never completes. Most of my tries, though, if you look at the mobile log, the messages are "Failed", and that's within seconds since they're sent. What is completely weird, I got 3-4 successful delivery notifications... anyone else?
