Hi Ikka,

Do like the new thread page setup so that I can easily see the initial post and the latest post.

As I can't find a thread where there is more than one post that I have marked as unread I am not sure if you have it set to show unread and first thread or just first and last I will need to wait to check this out.

Love the all thread posts on one page move. Excellent.

Any chance you could add the staff comment identifier to the Main Forum Rooms so that I can see whic Thread (Subjects) have been commented on by staff members before I open a specific thread (Subject).

All unread comments will show as open and with a different color styling, so it will be easy to spot what you haven't read yet.

Good suggestion too. I was thinking it might be also valuable to show the number of staff comments on the whole application forum on the main forum view as well, in addition to specific threads.

I like the idea, let's see what we can do.

Check some thread with a lot of comments.

Another idea would be the option to identify solutions with an icon or icons as done on teh Nokia Disucssion Forum.

I've managed to verify that this has now happened a number of times this morning.

New Topics are not identified as "New" within the forum rooms. The Main Forum screen shows and Room as having a new Topic, but when you enter the Room none of the Topics show as "New". The only way you can find the new topic is to sort by post dates to show latest fiirst.

The show all forum posts option has gone from my user detail screen. I use this to find previous posts I have made to refer to them.

It seems it was accidentally removed during the profile page update. It'll be added back.

"Mark All Read" does not do anything any more in the Forum Rooms. Still works on the Top level Forum page, but then when you enter a Room the thread Topics still show as unread. You can then click on "Mark All Read" in the Room but nothing happens.

Now I've posted its has just started working again. I'll keep checking.

Forum was caching some wrong stuff. Sorry about it. Still needs testing too..

"Mark All Read" now working OK again, but the New topics have no identifier to show they are new still.

Just checked again. "MarkAll Read" works ok in the App Rooms, but not on the main screen, or not for the Magnifier Room anyway. This room shows no new topics/comments, but shows as having one new topic on the Main Forum Page. "Mark All Read" in either location does not remove this 1 new topic.

Then tried "Show unread Forums" and was presented with the following error message:

Good News

"Mark All Read" appears to be working again this morning, but the unread markers are not showing in the Application Rooms. Only show on the main Forum page. When you select "Mark All Read" in one of the App. Rooms this does update the Main Forum page to show all read in that App Room though.

Hmm. Forums are working in my tests.

Are you not seeing unread markers in any app. rooms?

When I've just checked again it seems to be OK again now. The main rooms I was in earlier this morning were Betalabs, Maps 3, Sports Tracker, Step Counter and Converasation. There aren't any new posts or comments in some of these forums, btu in the ones with new posts/comments everything looks fine now.

Just noticed the new change. It is excellent! Superb addition team!

Lost all "Unread" identifiers again.

Could it be a Firefox issue? I'm using Firefox on Windows XP Professional x64. Didn't see this issue until a day or two ago.

Most propably it is about caching and clearing the cache. Will try some scenarios with multiple user accounts.

im a new user and i cant start any discussions or suggestions, when you click the new suggestion or dicussion buttons a white frame appears but its blank, theres no form to type into. do anyone know what the problem is?? Thanks

p.s i have tested it on different browsers...no luck

I have a feeling this may be a browser or browser plug-in issue. What internet browser are you using (make and version).

Ilkka or teemule may be the best ones to answer this one from a plu-in point of view. I have a feeling this page uses flash or shockwave. Not sure which.

I made a further testing proposal directly to j97051. The requirements for Beta Labs are very low. Cookies are required for the session. Javascript is used for ui-improvements but is not a requirement to access all standard pages and forms. Flash is used in the video players.

Running XP, on FF3.07, IE7, and Opera 9.51, I get the same issue as j97051. I registered yesterday, cleared the cache, reinstalled flash player, but still just get a blank popup. I tried to open the link in a new tab, http://betalabs.nokia.com/node/add/forum/suggestion/162 , and got a page with the message 'You are not authorized to access this page. '

I have notice that in the past few days my auto signature now only taggs onto response posts and not initial/new posts. I assume this is a but somewhere.

What happened to the topic symbol, where it used to go from green to red notifying how intense the conversation is?

I suppose when we had to abandon the Drupal "out-of-the-box" forum and develop a custom one for our needs, this feature was not developed...
