Bugreport for Share Online 4.3

Using a 6220c, I previously had SO4.0 working fine, using flickr account.
However recently if I click on my flickr account in the SO app, I've been shown some other random flickr user's photos. This random user changes regularly, presumably every time it updates the feed.

Around the same time I started noticing this I did a firmware update to 4.13, so it is probably this that caused it - probably the feature that allows you to keep your installed apps and settings across upgrades. However I'm loathe to have to go through the mammoth task of resetting the whole phone just to get SO working again. Is there another option? Removing/reinstalling/reactivating doesn't work.

Hi PDZ,

Yes, it is a known issue that you can not uninstall this beta version of Share Online; the only way to get back to the previous state is with a full reset of the device. This is noted on the release notes page.

When you activate an account with Flickr, you should be seeing three default feeds listed on the feed list, (the list you see when you click on your activated Flickr account in the Account list):

- Your recent photos & videos
- Your contacts' photos & videos
- Recent uploads from everyone

Of course, the third feed will contain 'random flickr users' photos'. Is this what you're seeing?

Out of those 3 feeds the first one is the random one.

Since my original post I've reset my phone (*#7370#). I re-installed share online 4.3, expecting this problem to have been cured but I'm still getting the random user's photos instead of mine, both on the active screen widget and in the feeds in the app itself.

This is what it looks like:

[random user 1]'s Recent Photos
[random user 2]'s Contacts Recent Photos
Recent Flickr Photos

The user name at the top of the screen is however correct - mine rather than random user x.

Hi - I'm having the same issue - when I set up SO with Flickr I initially got my own Flickr account showing up OK, but today I am getting somebody else's Flickr photos...

Exactly the same as pdz's experience, although I am using version 4.0.08.49 on N85.

..and today it's changed to somebody ELSE's photos. It's as if every time it refreshes it picks up a new Flickr user. What I wonder is whether or not it is any of their private photos I'm getting, or just their public feed?

Anyone else having this issue?

I also have the same problem. Started with version 3 of the software, I upgraded to version 4 and it hasn't fixed anything.

Currently I have Share online ver. 4.0.08.45
S60 version 3.2

The problem also effects the part of the program that displays "Your Contacts' Photos and Videos", in there I see photos from people who aren't my contacts, occasionally I do see photos from my actual contacts but next time I get update they are replaced by other peoples photos.

I can take some screen captures, upload to Flickr and post links if it will help someone fix the problem.

Same problem here, E71 S60 v3.1 Share online v3.0.08.41

The feed "your recent photos" downloads photos from another user unknown to me. The feed "your contacts photos" downloads photos that are not from my contacts.

Fairly crippling bug - anyone get anywhere with this?

I can't believe Nokia still haven't fixed this bug, surely displaying someone else's photos is a fairly serious privacy problem? I've got this problem on my N7 with version 4.0.09.12
